Three Shreveporters were arrested Tuesday night for simple criminal property damage, entering and remaining after being forbidden, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Janella R. Woods, 18, of the 6800 block of Jefferson Paige Road, Jeffery De Melvin Benjamin, II, 22, of the 200 block of Herndon, and Carolyn Haakason Davis, 46, of the 6000 block of West 70th Street, were taken into custody after they showed up at the victim’s house and would not leave when asked by the complainant. When the three were leaving the residence, the complainant said he heard a scratching sound, went outside, and found the victim’s car had been keyed down the driver’s side, from front to back. Woods, Benjamin and Davis were stopped on Airline Drive by a Bossier Sheriff’s deputy and marijuana and a cigar blunt were found inside the vehicle.
Woods, Benjamin and Davis were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. Their bonds were set at $3,000 each.
