Texan Arrested for Stalking

A Hughes Springs, Tx. man was arrested Friday for stalking a local woman, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen. Gary Evern Fulks, 61, of the 400 block of McPherson, was questioned by Bossier Sheriff’s Office investigators on Friday. He admitted to detectives that he had been stalking a local woman since September 2009. He stated that he paid an internet-based company in order to gain personal information about the victim, such as her date of birth and address. He admitted to traveling 80 miles from his home in Texas no less than five times in order to drive by the victim’s residence and obtain vehicle information. He has also sent her flowers and cards to her residence and gone to her place of business. Fulks was arrested and charged with stalking. He was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility. His bond is set at $25,000.
