Princeton Trio Arrested on Drug Charges

6/01/2010

Three Princeton residents were arrested early Friday morning on a variety of drug charges, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.

Jeremy Dewayne Hicks, 22, Roxanne Nicole Alford, 20, and Daniel Robert Lovett, 20, who all lived in the same residence on Thibodaux Street, were taken into custody after Hicks got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend. Hicks grabbed her by the shoulder and neck and pushed her outside. His girlfriend, who had scratches on her shoulder and red marks on her neck, went running down the road to get away from Hicks.

Hicks was contacted at his residence by Bossier Sheriff’s deputies, but he denied anything had happened. His girlfriend’s child was inside the residence and the front door was open. When deputies entered the residence to check on the child, a marijuana cigarette and rolling papers were observed in plain view on a book shelf.

Deputies searched Alford and Lovett’s room and found a plastic bag of marijuana, a plastic pill bottle containing loose marijuana and a package of rolling papers. Deputies also found a plastic bag in Lovett’s dresser drawer containing a bottle of Trenbolone and a syringe.

Hicks, Alford and Lovett were transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. Hicks was charged with domestic abuse battery/child endangerment, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. Alford was charged with possession of marijuana, possess of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor. Lovett was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of Trenbolone, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.

Hicks’ bond was set at $9,000. Alford’s was set at $2,000 and Lovett’s was set at $3,500.
