At one store in particular, salvia, a hallucinogenic plant, was being unlawfully distributed. The stores where the raids were conducted were: Hip Hop City, 1632 Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier City; Otto’s Citgo, 1995 Airline Drive in Bossier City; Pro Beauty Supply, 825 Benton Road in Bossier City; Jubilee Ride U.S.A., 1300 Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier City; Foodtown, 1918 Benton Road in Bossier City; and Kings Korner, 756 Highway 80 in Haughton. Investigators say, during the course of the investigation, attempts were made to buy counterfeit materials in every convenience store in the parish, but these six were the only locations where those fake items and drug paraphernalia were being sold. More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
