Shreveport Man Arrested for Aggravated Battery

6/02/2010

A Shreveport man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for aggravated battery, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.

John Henry Lee, 64, of the 2900 block of West College, was taken into custody after he became involved in an altercation with another man at the intersection of Highway 80 and Ward Line Road. Lee struck the man with a full can of Freon, causing an approximately 2” long cut on the man’s left cheek, which resulted in substantial bleeding and swelling. Lee also struck the man in the mouth with the can, knocking a bottom front tooth out, and admitted to Bossier Sheriff’s deputies that he also struck him with his fists.

Medics treated the injured man and suggested he go to the hospital to get stitches in his face. The man drove himself to the emergency room.

Lee was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond is pending.
