Bossier City Woman Turns Herself In
6/07/2010
| | Young Kim Tidwell, who was wanted in connection with the store raids of last month, has turned herself in, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen. Young Kim Tidwell, 60, of the 200 block of Cattail Trail, walked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and turned herself in at approximately 1:00 p.m. today. Tidwell had active warrants for illegal sale of counterfeit trademark, money laundering and racketeering. She was an associate of Pro Beauty Supply of the 800 block of Benton Road. Three persons were arrested for having involvement with the business. While Tidwell’s sister was listed as the official owner of the store, interviews with the three previously arrested individuals and documents seized during two search warrants showed that Tidwell handled the day-to-day operations of Pro Beauty Supply, ordered products for the store, and managed the money. Tidwell is charged with eight counts of illegal use of a counterfeit trademark, racketeering and money laundering. Her bond is set at $300,000.
