Haughton Man Arrested for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile
6/15/2010
| | A Haughton man was arrested early this morning for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen. Eric R. Helverson, 23, of the 1800 block of Red Oaks Road, was taken into custody after a Bossier Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 5300 block of Jamerson Road following a report of ATVs traveling on the roadway, causing excessive noise. When he arrived, the deputy came in contact with three people on the ATV—a 13-year-old female, a 17-year-old male and Helverson, a 23-year-old male. The deputy made contact with the juvenile female’s father who said she did not have permission to be with the two males. The father said his daughter was supposed to be staying at her friend’s house in Olde Oaks. Helverson was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond was set at $1,000.
