Benton Teen Arrested for Simple Assault

A Benton teen was arrested yesterday evening for simple assault, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen. Logan James Book, 18, of the 500 block of Crouch Road, was arrested after threatening his brother. The victim stated that Book threatened him by saying that he was going to mess him up (expletives removed). Deputies told Book, the victim and their father that he was going to document the matter and forward the information to Book’s probation officer. After deputies exited the residence, Book threatened his brother again in front of their father. Book was arrested and transported to the Bossier Max for booking. His bond is set at $200.
