Mississippi Man Arrested for Domestic Abuse Battery

A Mississippi man was arrested early Monday morning for domestic abuse battery and failure to register as a sex offender, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen. Felix Demond Richmond, 42, of Walnut Grove, Mississippi, was taken into custody after his live-in girlfriend of three years told Bossier Sheriff’s deputies Richmond kicked her in the back and held her down on their bed. Deputies say a 3-inch bruise was starting to appear on her lower back when they arrived. The girlfriend told one of the deputies she had been in fear for her life and ran down the street to call 911. Richmond is a convicted sex offender who has been living at a recreational vehicle park in Bossier Parish for two weeks without notifying authorities of a change of address. Richmond was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond is pending.
