Bodies of Two Teenagers Found in Truck

| | The bodies of two teenagers were found inside a pickup truck near the end of West Viking Drive in Bossier City around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen. A 16-year-old female was slumped over in the front passenger’s seat and a 16-year-old male was sitting in the driver’s side seat. The Bossier Parish Coroner, Dr. John Chandler, confirmed that each of the young people had suffered a gunshot wound. Bossier Sheriff’s investigators say there was some parental resistance to the two seeing one another. They say it appears the two decided to end their lives together rather than be apart. Autopsies are being performed this morning, and the identities of the teenagers will be released some time this afternoon.
