A Shreveport woman was arrested early Monday morning for resisting an officer, remaining after being forbidden and disturbing the peace, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.
Anna Davis Taylor, 45, of the 7800 block of Youree Drive, was taken into custody after she appeared in public in an intoxicated condition. In addition, she would not leave after being told to and would not stop when told to by a Bossier Sheriff’s deputy.
When deputies arrived at the residence in the 1600 block of Ross, the home owner told them she demanded that Taylor leave on several occasions, but she refused. At that point, a deputy spoke with Taylor outside, and she was very loud in clear view of the public.
The deputy then went back inside, but Taylor followed him and refused to leave in spite the deputy’s insistence. The deputy informed her that she was under arrest, but as he tried to put her in handcuffs, she pulled away and tried to run out the door.
Eventually, Taylor was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. Her bond was set at $2,150.
