Plain Dealing Man Arrested for Marijuana Possession

7/29/2010

A Plain Dealing man was arrested Wednesday afternoon for second-offense marijuana possession, no driver’s license on person and helmet required, said Bossier Sheriff Larry Deen.

Jordan Wayne Boney, 25, of the 200 block of Lee Road, was taken into custody after a Bossier Sheriff’s deputy saw him traveling north on Old Plain Dealing Road on a mini-motorcycle and not wearing a helmet. When the deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with Boney, he was unable to produce a driver’s license. During a frisk of Boney for weapons, he voluntarily emptied his pockets, and the deputy located a burnt marijuana roach in his cigarette pack.

Boney was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. His bond is pending.
